The Bey hive is buzzing on the heels of Beyoncé's big reveal that new music is on the way.

The Bey hive is buzzing on the heels of Beyoncé's big reveal that new music is on the way.

In a just-published interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the record-breaking superstar—who has the most Grammy wins for a female artist (28)—discusses the various stages of her career, including recording her first music at the age of 10, starting Parkwood Entertainment at 27, surrounding herself with strong women, realizing the importance of self-care and making music throughout quarantine.

“I’ve been in the studio for a year and a half,” said Beyoncé. “There’s nothing like the amount of love, passion and healing that I feel in the recording studio. After 31 years, it feels just as exciting as it did when I was nine years old. Yes, the music is coming!"

As she enters the fourth decade of her life, we can only expect the next chapter of music to represent a new era for Queen Bey.

“I want this next decade to be about celebration, joy and giving and receiving love. I want to give all the love I have to the people who love me back,” she continued. “The past is the past. I feel many aspects of that younger, less evolved Beyoncé could never fuck with the woman I am today.”

Sasha Fierce (2008) is Beyoncé's most commercially successful album, with 7.7m in sales ATD; her most recent studio set, Lemonade (2016) has garnered 3.53m ATD. Since its debut, she’s dropped projects like HOMECOMING (The Live Album) and The Lion King: The Gift, appeared on Megan Thee Stallion's "Savage Remix” and released “BLACK PARADE” in honor of Juneteenth 2020.
