KANYE STREAMS DONDA; ALBUM STILL NOT RELEASED

Kanye West did a livestream Thursday night on Apple Music of the latest edition of DONDA at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

He began playing the album about 90 minutes before it was scheduled to be released. The set bore a different track order from its previous incarnation and included a few new songs, one of which features Lil Yachty and Lil Durk, another The Weeknd and a third Jay Electronica and The Lox

West closed the event by flying above the stadium floor to the strains of the single “No Child Left Behind.”

But when the proceedings cracked the midnight hour, DONDA (G.O.O.D./Def Jam) was nowhere to be found on any platform. As with anything involving Ye, it was unclear what would happen next; nor was it apparent when the album would actually be delivered.

West's first DONDA event, on 7/22, broke the record for Apple's biggest global livestream, with more than 3.3m viewers. The mercurial star has not left the Atlanta stadium since then, having turned the facility's locker rooms into a studio.
