U.K. MIDWEEKS:
BILLIE RULES

Billie Eilish is heading for #1 on the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart with Happier Than Ever (Polydor). The title track, meanwhile, looks set to claim the highest new entry on singles.

Happier Than Ever is outselling the entire albums Top 10 combined at the midweek point. Should it hold onto its lead, it will be Eilish’s second U.K. chart-topper.

The most-streamed release this past weekend is Dave’s We’re All Alone in This Together (NBR), which has dropped one place to #2, while the first posthumous studio album of unreleased material from Prince since his death in 2016, Welcome 2 America (Legacy), is at #3 midweek.

Southampton rock band Creeper is currently at #5 with its new EP, American Noir (Roadrunner), and Erasure is new at #7 with The Neon Remixed (Mute).

Prog-rock group Big Big Train is on the cusp of its first Top 10 album, with the self-released Common Ground at #9, and swing quartet The Overtones are at #10 with anniversary album 10 (Hurricane Music).

On the U.K.’s Official Singles midweeks, Eilish’s “Happier Than Ever” starts at #12. Ed Sheeran’s “Bad Habits” (Atlantic) looks set for a sixth week at #1, leading on both sales and streams.

“Stay” (RCA) by The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber is up one to its previous peak of #2, while “Black Magic” (3 Beat) by Jonasu has risen two places to #3.

Becky Hill & David Guetta’s “Remember” (Polydor) is also climbing, up three places to #7, and Rain Radio & DJ Craig Gorman’s “Talk About” (Polydor) is up three spots to #15.
