SECRETLY'S TOURING BOUTIQUE AND SWINGING HOT SPOT

Five labels. Fifteen cities. One truck.

From 9/9 to 9/26, Secretly Group, the label consortium comprising Dead Oceans, Ghostly International, Jagjaguwar, Numero Group and Secretly Canadian, will embark on a traveling outdoor label expo, visiting 15 cities across the eastern United States. Rolling up to a parking lot near you, Paved Paradise is the vinyl wonderland Joni was really singing about. The label group has had an extraordinary few years with a roster that includes multiple Grammy winner Bon Iver, Phoebe Bridgers, Sharon Van Etten, Moses Sumney, Mitski, Angel Olsen, Khruanbing, Japanese Breakfast and Big Red Machine, the collaboration between Justin Vernon and Aaron Dessner, whose current single, “Renegade,” featuring Taylor Swift, is nearing the Top 15 at Hot AC, a first for label Jagjaguwar.

Part pop-up shop, part block party and part roadside fruit stand, Paved Paradise brings the record store experience outdoors, giving attendees an opportunity to test drive the latest sounds and styles flowing from five record companies operating at the top of their respective games.

Tucked under two tents, sonic specialists from the Secretly family will be onsite to talk shop, spin records and host special guests, who will also DJ and share their knowledge of music. Expect bins packed with LPs, 45s, cassettes and CDs, including exclusive product, limited colored-vinyl variants, out-of-print items, gently used LPs, vintage compact discs and small-run tapes. Browse Secretly's digital libraries at the Qobuz-powered Hi-Res listening station. Load up on T-shirts, mugs, totes, pins, socks, sunglasses, hats and whatever other miscellany can fit into a 24-foot Penske.

"It's been invigorating to return to producing in-person events," said Amanda Colbenson, Ghostly International Special Project Director and Brooklyn Flea Record Fair Director. "Getting to work with so many inspiring businesses and organizations is what this tour is all about, and we are grateful to them for opening their doors and parking lots to our ambitious experiment. We can't wait to hit the road in the Penske and go see everyone.”
