FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

EST Gee’s CMG/Warlike/Interscope mixtape tops Apple Music this Flipover Friday, while the Top 10 at iTunes is jammed with indie releases.

The Louisville rapper’s Bigger Than Life or Death, released Wednesday, is #1 at Apple Music and #26 at iTunes, while his track featuring Lil Baby, 42 Dugg & Rylo Rodriguez, “5500 Degrees,” is #5 at Apple Music songs.

Only two major-label releases sit in the Top 10 at iTunes albums: Leon Bridges’ third album, Gold-Diggers Sound (Columbia), at #3, and Foo Fighters’ deep dive into disco, Dee Gees/Hail Satin (Roswell/RCA), at #9.

Out of the gate, the eighth album from mike., the highs. (4THEHOMIES/Ditto), opens at #1 ahead of Jackson Browne’s first studio album in nearly seven years, Downhill From Everywhere (Inside).

The second album from Mississippi blues guitarist Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, 662 (Alligator), digs in at #5; Tribl & Maverick City Music drum up #6 with Tribl I (Tribl); and Descendents9th & Walnut (Epitaph)—a nod to an intersection in Long Beach—parks at #7. Featuring the band's "classic" lineup, it unleashes 18 songs written between 1977 and 1981.

David Crosby takes time away from his very active Twitter account to release For Free (Three Blind Mice/BMG), which drops in at #8; Shane & Shane’s Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual Songs, Vol. 1 (Wellhouse) is #10.

iTunes songs has a new #1: Jason Aldean & Carrie Underwood’s “If I Didn’t Love You” (Macon Music/This Is Hit/Broken Bow). Noise Machine & Blue-Eyed-Darkness’ “Numb” (Noise Machine) opens at #6.

Anyone expecting to see a new album from Kanye West is going to have to wait; Donda has not yet been released.
