Vevo has dropped the official live-performance video of Ariana Grande’s “positions.” The clip is the sixth and final visual presentation of live performances of songs from Ari’s latest album, Positions.
Opening with an on-the-spot looping arrangement, Grande stacks harmonies in real time in keeping with her previous live videos—including “pov,” “safety net” f/Ty Dolla $ign and “off the table” f/The Weeknd—as she performs in a field of flowers amid lighting that shifts from pink to purple.
Said JP Evangelista, SVP, Content, Programming & Marketing for Vevo, “An immensely creative and collaborative artist is key to these visually stunning performances and Ariana embodies that.”
Grande previously collaborated with Vevo in 2013 and 2016 for “Vevo Presents” performances of “Dangerous Woman,” “Be Alright,” “Leave Me Lonely,” “Greedy” and “Into You.” She broke the Vevo 24-hour view-count record in 2018 with 50m views of “thank u, next” and in 2020, she was one of Vevo’s Top 10 Worldwide Most Watched Artists.
