Singer/songwriter Lexi Jayde has signed with Mike Caren’s Artist Partner Group and released her debut EP, A Teenage Diary, today. She's issued three videos (see below) for tracks from the EP. Jayde heads out on a 10-date tour of the West in October.
"There are so many stories and emotions portrayed in this EP, and I know that every age group will be able to relate to at least one of the songs,” said the San Fernando Valley native, who counts Clairo, Tame Impala and Fleetwood Mac among her influences. “That’s exactly why I write music—to help and inspire people. We all go through the same stuff.”
Having collaborated with producers and writers like Ilsey Juber, King Henry and Jon Bellion, Jayde has amassed more than 6m global streams and appeared on multiple Spotify playlists. Apple Music’s Zane Lowe championed her as “a fresh Kacey Musgraves.” Jayde has been working closely with A&R hitter Andre Herd, who was responsible for signing her to APG.
Earlier this year, the artist was featured on Goody Grace & Cigarettes After Sex’s “On Repeat.”
Her tour, with Adam Melchor, starts 10/7.
