Stormzy, one of the U.K.’s top rappers, has signed with CAA for representation in all areas worldwide.
CAA will also represent Stormzy’s company, #Merky, home to his publishing imprint, #MerkyBooks, and the Merky Foundation, which recently donated £500k to fund educational scholarships for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The first artist to join 0207 Def Jam, late last year, Stormzy set a British record in 2017 for the most first-week streams for a #1 album in U.K. chart history: 13.9m. It led to his winning BRIT Awards for British Album of the Year and Male Solo Artist of the Year.
The first British rapper to headline the Glastonbury Festival, he will top the bill at the Reading & Leeds Festival this year.
Stormzy is managed by Tobe Onwuka.
