FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

Plenty of familiar names fill the top of the iTunes charts this Flipover Friday as Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis release their first album under their own names and BTS drops another single.

But only one album is sitting in the Top 10 at Apple Music and iTunes, the third full-length from L.A.-based Swedish singer Snoh Aalegra: Temporary Highs in the Violet Skies (Artium/Roc Nation) is #2 in sales and #10 on the streaming side.

At iTunes, Jam & Lewis, Vol. 1 (Flyte Tyme/BMG) is #1.

The Wallflowers’ first album in nine years, Exit Wounds (New West), is #3, one slot ahead of Vince Staples’ self-titled Blacksmith/Motown release. Vince Staples is #12 at Apple Music.

The Maine, who hail from Arizona, dock at #5 with XOXO: From Love & Anxiety in Real (Photo Finish/8123). The cast album for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella (RUG/Verve) has a ball at #8, while an expanded edition of the soundtrack to Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (ABKCO) opens at #9.

Irish rock band Inhaler's It Won’t Always Be Like This (Interscope) is #10. On the streaming side, Mariah the Scientist’s Ry Ry World (RCA) is #17.

BTS opens once again at #1, this time with “Permission to Dance” (Big Hit). The instrumental version steps up to #3. BIA f/Nicki Minaj’s “Whole Lotta Money (Remix)” (BIA/Epic) is #9 and in the Top 40 at Apple Music.
