ON SPOTIFY'S RADAR: NATHY PELUSO

Born in Argentina, based in Barcelona, Spanish singer Nathy Peluso is the latest artist to benefit from RADAR U.S., the stateside incarnation of Spotify's global emerging-artist development program. She has gained recognition for her eclectic sound, which fuses elements of pop, hip-hop, jazz and salsa.

Peluso dropped a new single, "MAFIOSA" (Sony Latin), to herald her status as a RADAR artist. Click below for a lively listen.

She is currently best known for her debut album, Calambre, fan favorite “Business Woman” and the Latin Grammy-nominated “Corashe," a noteworthy collaboration from Karol G's recent album, GATO MALO.

Peluso's work has been streamed more than 400 million times on Spotify and added to more than 157 playlists, including Hits Virales España, Viva Latino, Hits Urbanos and Fresh Finds Latin.

“I hope being a RADAR U.S. artist makes new audiences discover my music," she said, "and reach more people of different countries and cultures to listen to my songs.”

Said Spotify Head of U.S. Latin Artist & Label Partnerships, North America, Monica Herrera Damashek, “Nathy Peluso’s creative output is bold and empowering. Her music is uniquely modern and classic, mixing everything from Latin hip-hop and soul to tango and salsa, and her visual aesthetic and live performance are undeniable. She’s already developed a passionate fanbase across Spain and Latin America that can’t wait to hear what’s next from Nathy, and we’re thrilled to support her continued growth internationally and in the U.S.”

Peluso joins The Kid LAROI, girl in red, Flo Milli and Boza, among others, in the RADAR U.S. pantheon.
