CENTRAL PARK CONCERT BOOKS SOME BIG NAMES

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has made a portion of the Central Park "mega-concert" lineup official: Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon and Jennifer Hudson will be performing at the event.

The show remains tentatively scheduled for 8/21 as part of the city's Homecoming Week; hizzoner had no update on a potential change. Clive Davis has led the talent-wrangling.

"This is going to be one of the greatest Central Park concerts in history," de Blasio said. "This is something for the ages."

The New York Times reported that Springsteen would perform a duet with Patti Smith as part of his set.
