FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

It’s a particularly sunny Flipover Friday for Sony Music as RCA’s Doja Cat and Columbia’s Tyler, the Creator rule the roost at iTunes and Apple Music.

D-Cat’s third album, Planet Her (Kemosabe/RCA), is the top-seller at iTunes and #3 at Apple Music, while Tyler, the Creator’s Call Me if You Get Lost tops the streaming chart and is #4 in sales. He also has four songs in the Top 11 at Apple Music, led by “Sir Baudelaire” at #4.

The Golden Casket from Epic’s Modest Mouse, currently #5, gives Sony three of the Top 5 titles at iTunes.

The Top 10 at iTunes is all new arrivals. Ohio metalcore act Beartooth is in the #2 slot with Below (Red Bull). Gary Allan’s Ruthless (EMI Nashville) is #3, Light the Torch’s You Will Be the Death of Me (Nuclear Blast) fires up at #6 and Phil Wickham’s self-released Hymn of Heaven bows at #7.

Brian Kelley’s Sunshine State of Mind (Nashville South/Warner Nashville) dawns at #8, followed by Lady A’s What a Song Can Do (Chapter One) (BMLG) at #9 and Logic’s YS Collection, Vol. 1 (Def Jam) at #10.

Ed Sheeran’s new single, “Bad Habits” (Atlantic), opens at #1 at iTunes songs, which has one other new arrival in the Top 10: Ashley Cooke’s “Already Drank That Beer” (Back Blocks) at #6.
