JAZZFEST RETURNS

Dead & Company, Stevie Nicks and Foo Fighters are among the more than 50 artists confirmed for this year’s New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

A co-production of Festival Productions and AEG Presents that had to take 2020 off, it will be held 10/8-10 and 10/15-17. Jazz Fest is normally one of the first festivals of the year, taking place in late April and early May.

The bill also includes Demi Lovato, H.E.R., Brandi Carlile, Norah Jones, the Tedeschi Trucks Band, Brittany Howard, Randy Newman and Nile Rodgers & CHIC. Among the locals announced are Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Irma Thomas, Big Freedia, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Kermit Ruffins & the Barbeque Swingers, The Soul Rebels, Leo Nocentelli, Walter Wolfman Washington & the Roadmasters and George Porter Jr. & Runnin’ Pardners. The full lineup will be released next month.

Three-day passes are now on sale; single-day tickets will go on sale in July.
