BOZA HITS SPOTIFY'S RADAR

Spotify has tapped Boza as its next RADAR U.S. act, making him the first Panamanian artist to be upstreamed to the U.S., following a Central America/Caribbean campaign last year. He joins fellow emerging artists Griff, girl in red and Flo Milli in Spotify's 2021 RADAR U.S. class.

Boza's 2020 also saw the release of his debut album, Mas Negro Que Rojo (Sony Latin), which delivered his first hit single, "Hecha Pa Mi"—the track reached #14 on Spotify's Global chart last year.

Known for fusing dancehall with the Panamanian style canela, Boza is currently featured in more than 60 Spotify playlists and has nearly 12m monthly listeners. His tenure as a RADAR U.S. artist will encompass features on the RADAR playlist, a Spotify Singles recording and the full support of the platform. Read an interview with Boza here.

Spotify Editor, Latin America, Jose Nova commented, "Over the last two years we have witnessed Boza develop one of the strongest fan bases in all of Central America, which has quickly scaled throughout the rest of Latin America and Europe. Boza consistently provides his fans with unique storytelling through his lyrics, which have deep connections with audiences around the world."
