Hit songwriter and producer Justin Tranter, who graces the cover of this Pride special, also agreed to be interviewed for the issue’s cover story—a deep and energizing conversation that embraces both personal struggles and triumphs and the state of society and the biz.

Whether appearing on the cover of our shameful publication ever enhanced anyone’s feelings of pride we can’t really say. But Justin’s participation did make us feel a tiny bit proud. For once.
