CHART FINAL: POLO PREVAILS

June 18, 2021

Columbia's Polo G scores his first #1 album as Hall of Fame opens in that position on the HITS Top 50 with 146k units. QC/Motown's Migos debut at #2, with Culture III posting 138k.

Polo G ups the ante on his milestone year, landing his first #1 album, Hall of Fame (Columbia); it opens on the HITS Top 50 with 146k units.

The Chicago rapper has reached a new first-week-sales peak with his third full-length, which includes chart-topping single “RAPSTAR” and heavyweight features from Lil Wayne, Lil Durk, The Kid LAROI, Roddy Ricch and Nicki Minaj, among others. Hall of Fame is also the week’s most-streamed project, generating 165m audio streams.

Arriving at #2 with 138k is Culture III from Quality Control/Motown’s Migos. The long-awaited third installment of the Culture trilogy picks up 140m audio streams. The all-star trio gives QC two projects in the Top 5, as last week’s #1, Lil Baby & Lil Durk’s The Voice of the Heroes, slides to #4.

Olivia Rodrigo logs another six-digit week with SOUR (Geffen), which holds firm at #3 with 122k in its fourth week.

Among the top debuts are two titles distributed by Ingrooves: Female K-pop ennead TWICE makes its biggest impact yet on U.S. charts as Taste of Love (JYP/Imperial/Republic) enters at #6, while Bo Burnham’s INSIDE (The Songs) (Imperial/Republic), the soundtrack to his buzzing Netflix comedy special, leaps to #7 its first full week of activity.

Maroon 5 earns a Top 10 bow for its seventh studio album, Jordi (222/Interscope)—a tribute to the group’s late manager, Jordan Feldstein.

Streeting this week is the debut full-length from RCA Grammy and Oscar winner H.E.R.
