GUETTA GOES GLOBAL WITH WARNER MUSIC

Max Lousada is bringing David Guetta into the Warner Music family, and boy does he have a lot of unpacking to do.

In a career-spanning, worldwide agreement, Warner Music has signed Guetta for future recordings and is acquiring his recorded music catalog from the last two decades.

This year alone, Guetta has released eight new tracks, including “Bed” with Joel Corry and Raye, and “Heartbreak Anthem” with Galantis and Little Mix, and will drop a new single in July. His “United at Home” lockdown performances from Dubai, Miami, New York and Paris were viewed by more than 125m people and raised more than $1.6m for various charities.

Said Warner Recorded Music CEO Lousada, “It’s rare for an artist to not only define a genre but transform it. David has been doing that for over two decades—igniting worldwide audiences and influencing whole generations of talent. He continues to have an extraordinary impact on the evolution of dance music while innovating and collaborating with new voices in dynamic ways. For all he’s achieved so far, there’s so much great music, creativity and originality still to come.”

In November 2020, Guetta was voted No. 1 for the second time in DJ Magazine’s annual Top 100 DJs poll .

His debut album, Just a Little More Love, came out in 2002; his mainstream breakthrough occured in 2009 with One Love.

“This is the right time to renew my creative partnership with my trusted team at Warner Music,” Guetta said. “This deal is about having the best people around me to ensure I can keep innovating with exciting new projects while working my extensive catalog and continuing to build my career.”
