Larry Mestel and his Primary Wave team celebrated the return of in-person group shots for sleazy trade publications like ours—oh, and also, you know, like, the return of pubic life and stuff—by assembling for this stately tableau during an executive retreat in Rockaway, Queens. Later, in the wake of the Oaktree announcement, Mestel pondered what islands he might buy, including Manhattan.
