FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

The iTunes charts are packed with new arrivals this Flipover Friday as rookies fill the entire Top 10 at albums and six new singles rise into the Top 10. Polo G and Migos are making their marks in sales and streaming.

Polo G’s Hall of Fame (Columbia) is #2 at Apple Music and #9 at iTunes, while his single with Nicki Minaj, “For the Love of New York,” is #4 at iTunes. On the streaming side, “Painting Pictures,” “No Return” f/The Kid LAROI & Lil Durk, “GANG GANG” and “Toxic” are already Top 30.

Migos’ final entry in its Culture trilogy, Culture III (QC/Motown) is #4 on both charts. Pi’erre Burne’s The Life of Pi’erre 5 (Sosshouse/Interscope) is #6 at Apple Music.

Back at sales, the self-titled debut from Wolfgang Van Halen’s band Mammoth WVH on EX1 is #1 followed by Crowder’s Milk & Honey (sixsteps/Sparrow/Capitol CMG) at #2 and Bo Burnham’s collection of tracks from his Netflix special, Inside (The Songs) at #3. Inside is also #12 at Apple Music.

Maroon 5 is in the top 10 twice with JORDI (222/Interscope). The regular version #5 and the deluxe edition sits at #8.

Garbage’s No Gods No Masters (STUNVOLUME/BMG) drops in at #6, MARINA’s Ancient Dreams in a Modern Land (Atlantic) docks at #7 and the soundtrack to Lin-Manuel Miranda’s In the Heights (Water Tower) orders a chopped cheese to go at #10.

Nightbirde goes from America’s Got Talent to #1 at iTunes with “It’s OK” (Next Level). Canadian MAGA-boy rapper Tom MacDonald is #2 with “Snowflakes.”

Kelsea Ballerini & LANY’s Wednesday release, “I Quit Drinking” (Black River), sobers up at #6 followed by Lorde’s “Solar Power” (Republic) at #7 and Megan Thee Stallion’s “Thot Shit” (300) at #10.
