Capitol/UMe’s 50th anniversary edition of George Harrison’s landmark All Things Must Pass will be released 8/6. It includes gnomes.
Epic and ambitious when issued as a three-LP set in April 1970, it’s being offered as an eight-LP/five-CD/one-Blu-ray Uber Deluxe Edition in a wooden crate with two books and gnomes; a Super Deluxe Edition with no crate; a five-LP or three-CD Deluxe Edition that pairs the original album with outtakes and jams; and the album on two CDs, three LPs or limited-edition colored vinyl.
The music has been completely remixed from the original tapes to sonically upgrade the set. It includes 47 demos and outtakes, 42 of which are previously unreleased.
Said Dhani Harrison, "Since the 50th anniversary stereo-mix release of the title track to my father’s legendary All Things Must Pass album in 2020, my dear pal Paul Hicks and I have continued to dig through mountains of tapes to restore and present the rest of this newly remixed and expanded edition of the album you now see before you. Bringing greater sonic clarity to this record was always one of my father’s wishes, and it was something we were working on together right up until he passed in 2001. Now, 20 years later, with the help of new technology and the extensive work of Paul, we've realized this wish."
Sorry, gnomes not available separately.
