Pop icon Mariah Carey has parted ways with Roc Nation management and joined up with the team at Range Media Partners.
A representative for RMP confirmed that the company "is working in partnership" with Carey. Melissa Ruderman, Carey's manager at Roc Nation, continues to rep the mega-diva in her new role as a managing partner of Range Media’s music division.
As we recently reported, RMP now represents super-songwriter Justin Tranter and actors such as Emilia Clarke, Bradley Cooper, Gabrielle Union, Michael Fassbender, Tom Hardy, Ramy Youssef and Keira Knightley; directors like Michael Bay and M. Night Shyamalan; and recording artists Wale, MAX, Midland and D Smoke.
The story was first reported by the U.K. tabloid The Sun, which amped up rumors that Carey had had a dramatic falling-out with Roc Nation founder Jay-Z; Carey denied this vociferously on social media. A more credible report then surfaced on Deadline.
Stay tuned for updates.
