U.K. MIDWEEKS: WOLF'S BIG WEEKEND

Wolf Alice is on course at the halfway point for their first U.K. Official Albums #1, with Blue Weekend (Dirty Hit). Over on singles, Olivia Rodrigo looks set for a third week at the top.

Wolf Alice are currently outselling the rest of the Top 5 combined and appear ready to trump the #2 peaks of their previous two albums.

All the Colours of You (Nothing But Love Music) by the Manchester band James is new at #2 today, while Down Under rockers Crowded House come in at #4, with Dreamers Are Waiting (EMI).

Rise Against’s Nowhere Generation (Loma Vista) could become its first Top 10—it’s #6—and ZZ Top’s Billy F Gibbons looks to be earning his second solo Top 20, with Hardware (Concord) at #7. The Voice of the Heroes (UMG), Lil Baby Lil Durk’s collaborative album, is #8.

On the U.K.’s Official Singles midweeks, Rodrigo’s “good 4 u” (Polydor) scored 1.8m streams over the weekend to remain at #1. It’s well ahead of its closest competition, The Weeknd’s “Save Your Tears” (Island), which has risen two places to #2. Calvin Harris & Tom Grennan’s new collaboration, “By Your Side” (Columbia), is on its way to becoming this week’s highest new entry, at #12.

Galantis, David Guetta and Little Mix’s “Heartbreak Anthem” (Atlantic) is heading for the Top 5 after climbing three places midweek to #5, while Majestic & Boney M are up four places to #7 with “Rasputin” (Ministry of Sound).

British artist Mimi Webb could also score a new chart peak, with “Good Without” (RCA) at #8, while Billie Eilish’s “Lost Cause” (Polydor) stands at #16 on today’s update.
