Just in time for Pride month, Culture Club frontman Boy George is the latest voice to partner with Waze. The music and fashion icon will guide trips, impart words of wisdom and life advice through the navigation app.
The Primary Wave artist has also curated a special Pride playlist for the road, which can be streamed on Spotify or through the Waze audio player.
In the Pride spirit, the playlist is filled with songs about acceptance and love from artists like Nina Simone, David Bowie, Pet Shop Boys, Joni Mitchell, Madonna and George, among others.
The Boy George experience, aka “Tea Time with Boy George,” is available on the app starting today (6/2).
To add his voice directions while driving this Pride month, open the Waze app and choose “Drive with Boy George” to launch his experience and hear voice prompts like “There’s no better time than now to be who you are. There’s also no better time to put on your seat belt.”
