In celebration of Africa Day, Audiomack is launching the three-day virtual festival Hometown Heroes Nigeria.
Showcasing talent across the African region, the concert series kicks off today (5/25) and runs through 5/27 on Audiomack’s YouTube channel with performances from Davido, Omah Lay, Tems, Fireboy, Joeboy, Yemi Alade and more.
Established in 2019, Hometown Heroes highlights newcomers as well as established artists from various regions across the world.
Inspired by Audiomack’s Hometown Heroes playlist, which features 19+ cities globally, the concert is all about celebrating Nigeria and the sounds that make it special.
“Nigeria is one of Audiomack’s largest markets and since inception, the music industry has been extremely supportive. As we cannot understate its immense value to both Audiomack and the global music scene, we are beyond thrilled to roll out this concert series to our Nigerian audience,” said Jason Johnson, VP of Marketing and Brand Strategy, Audiomack Africa.
“This concert series will also provide an avenue for artists and fans to connect and like our platform, it will be accessible to all music Lovers.”
