FLIPOVER FRIDAY: NEW ARRIVALS AT iTUNES AND APPLE MUSIC

The album may be titled Sour, but the reaction this Flipover Friday is sweet: Olivia Rodrigo’s debut for Geffen tops the iTunes album chart and sits at #2 at Apple Music while “good 4 u” has claimed the top slot among streamers.

On the songs side, Rodrigo’s “good 4u” is also #4 at iTunes, followed by “déjà vu” at #11. On the streaming sidem, “brutal” and “traitor” join the smash “drivers license” in the Top 40.

Following Rodrigo are new arrivals in the next seven slots, all by veteran acts.

Twenty one pilots Scaled and Icy (Fueled By Ramen) hooks #2; P!nk’s mostly live set, All I Know So Far: Setlist (RCA), is #3; and Lord Huron’s Long Lost (Whispering Pines/Republic) finds its way to #4. Counting Crows has one of today’s chart entries with the word “butter” in it: Butter Miracle Suite One — EP (BMG) is #5.

Blake Shelton’s 12th studio album, Body Language (Ten Point/Warner Nashville) takes a seat at #6; Sara Bareilles’ recent outing up Highland Avenue, Amidst the Chaos: Live From the Hollywood Bowl (Epic), enjoys the stacked parking at #7; and Mat Kearney’s January Flower (Tomorrow) blossoms at #8.

The other “Butter” title comes from BTS who arrive—where else?—at #1. And right behind the new one from HYBE/Columbia is the instrumental version. Dream’s “Mask” is #7.

Back at Apple Music, Young Nudy’s Tuesday release, DR. EV4L (RCA), is #5 and 42Dugg’s Free Dem Boyz (4PF/Capitol Music Group) is in the #9 slot.
