SoundExchange CEO Michael Huppe will deliver a keynote address at the virtual Canadian Music Week conference on 5/21, and will take as his theme “The Future of Music: The Challenges of the Next Five Years.” That period, Huppe insists, will be “pivotal,” as the continued growth of streaming increases the need for a revised business model that fairly compensates all participants in the value chain.
