DMX's posthumous album, EXODUS, with all new material executive produced by longtime collaborator Swizz Beatz, will be released 5/28 via Def Jam. The all-star feature lineup includes Jay-Z, Nas, Lil Wayne, Bono, Snoop Dogg, Alicia Keys, Moneybagg Yo, Usher, The Lox and more.
EXODUS marks DMX's first studio album since Grand Champ was released 18 years ago. The new album shares its name with DMX’s son Exodus Simmons. The album artwork is by original photographer Jonathan Mannion, who captured some of the most iconic images of DMX throughout his career.
Swizz Beatz issued the following statement upon announcement: “My brother X was one of the most pure and rare souls I’ve ever met. He lived his life dedicated to his family and music. Most of all, he was generous with his giving and loved his fans beyond measure. This album, X couldn’t wait for his fans all around the world to hear and show just how much he valued each and every single person that has supported him unconditionally.”
Following DMX's tragic death in April, The Best of DMX soared to #2 on the HITS Top 50.
