J. Cole has released a new documentary ahead of Friday's arrival of the Dreamville/Roc Nation/Interscope superstar's eagerly anticipated sixth studio album, The Off-Season. The doc premiered on YouTube Monday (5/10); watch Applying Pressure: The Off-Season here.
The documentary film follows last Friday's release of the first track from the album, "i n t e r l u d e," which topped both Spotify and Apple Music over the weekend.
News also broke Monday that Cole would be fulfilling his dreams of playing professional basketball. The Athletic's NBA insider Shams Charania reported that J. Cole is singing a deal in the Basketball Africa League with the Rwanda Patriots B.B.C. His first game is Sunday vs. Nigeria.
