We're delighted to present these pics of UMG General Counsel and EVP Biz & Legal/Def Jam boss Jeff Harleston with Janet Jackson and UMPG chief Jody Gerson with RCA breakout SZA. We share these shots because (a) they make us happy; (b) they remind us that sometime soon-ish we'll be able to go out and drink too much Malbec and maybe hang out with people who are way more interesting and creative than we'll ever be; and (c) to note that our forthcoming Black Music Month special issue will trace a history of R&B/Soul music, to which all of the people pictured here have in some way contributed.
