ASCAP UPS MORGADO

ASCAP has bumped up Gregory Morgado to Executive Vice President and Deputy General Counsel.

Morgado joined ASCAP in 2015 and was promoted to Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel in 2018. He leads the Business and Legal Affairs team in protecting ASCAP’s legal and business interests in the areas of business development and strategy, technology and information systems, finance, international and marketing.

Morgado recently played a key role working with the Strategy, Product, Technology and Repertory teams to develop and implement Songview, ASCAP’s joint data platform with BMI for copyright ownership and administration.

Prior to his tenure with ASCAP, Morgado worked at Viacom as Vice President, Counsel, Corporate Transactions and Securities.
