As we continue to mourn the loss of hip-hop innovator Shock G, we present this photo from our archives of the man and his group, Digital Underground, during a Bay Area radio stop with KMEL's Davey D, Keith Naftaly and Hosh Gureli.

The man born Greg Jacobs was a true innovator with a wicked flair for hip-hop humor and a brace of alter egos. He also possessed an intimate understanding of the nuances in the music, as evidenced by this newly unearthed clip.
