U.K. CHARTS: SECOND #1 FOR LONDON GRAMMAR

London Grammar’s Californian Soil (Ministry of Sound) digs in at #1 on the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart on 31k in sales. Over on singles, Lil Nas X scores a fourth week at the top.

Californian Soil is the fastest-selling album of 2021 so far by a British act. London Grammar’s second #1, it has outperformed the rest of the Top 5 combined.

AJ Tracey’s Flu Game (Revenge Records) is the most-streamed album of the week, at #2 today, followed by The Offspring’s Let the Bad Times Roll (Concord) at #3.

Imelda May’s 11 Past the Hour (Decca) enters at #6, followed by Greta Van Fleet’s The Battle at Garden’s Gate (Republic) at #8.

On the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart, “MONTERO (Call Me by Your Name)” (RCA) remains at #1 with 7.6m plays. Justin Bieber f/Daniel Caesar and GIVĒON’s “Peaches” (EMI) also stays put, at #2.

Joel Corry, Raye and David Guetta reach a new peak with “Bed” (Atlantic), up one to #3. Further Top 10 apices come courtesy of Tom Grennan’s “Little Bit of Love” (Relentless) at #7, “Kiss Me More” (Ministry of Sound) by Doja Cat f/SZA at #9 and Grennan’s collaboration with Ella Henderson, “Let’s Go Home Together” (Atlantic), at #10.

Olivia Rodrigo’s “deja vu” (Polydor) is up 14 places to #12.
