DAVE MATTHEWS STICKS WITH SUMMER

Add the Dave Matthews Band to the growing list of acts comfortable starting major tours in July. The group's 40-date trek begins 7/23 in Raleigh, N.C., and will wrap up 11/10 in Uncasville, Conn.

DMB will make its annual return to the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Wash., for its traditional three-night Labor Day Weekend stand, joined by support artists Dumpstaphunk and Allen Stone on 9/3, Robert Randolph and the Family Band on 9/4 and Mavis Staples on 9/5.

This year, in conjunction with music-gear online retailer REVERB, the Dave Matthews Band will offset its carbon footprint and pick up the carbon tab for fans travelling to gigs by neutralizing emissions via carbon-reduction projects.

A presale for members of the DMB Warehouse Fan Association is underway, with a presale for Citi cardholders on 4/27 and a public on-sale of 4/30.
