Global pop superstars BTS will be the next music act to collaborate with McDonald's, the storied food chain announced on 4/19. "The BTS Meal" will be available in the U.S. on 5/26 and expands to 40+ countries through June. According to CNN, the meal includes a 10-pc. Chicken McNuggets, medium french fries and Coke, along with two new dipping sauces—sweet chili and cajun—inspired by McDonald's' South Korea recipes.
BTS follows Travis Scott and J. Balvin as the third major music collab with McDonald's. The Big Hit/Columbia group already created a TikTok spot for the food chain, in which they harmonize McDonald's' catchy jingle intro, "Ba Da Ba Ba Ba."
The BTS x McDonald's collab has the Army speculating that a new season of BTS music is arriving as summer begins. Will the world get a new single? Who knows. In the mean time, take a look back at the last major pop group collaboration with a fast food joint, Jack in the Box's Meaty Cheesy Boys.
