Elle King & Miranda Lambert’s “Drunk (And I Don’t Want to Go Home)” (RCA) shoots to the top of the iTunes songs chart following the duo’s show-opening performance on the 56th ACM Awards.
Country songs are dominating iTunes the day after the awards shows with Gabby Barrett’s “The Good Ones,” Ryan Hurd & Maren Morris’ “Chasing After You,” Chris Stapleton’s “Maggie’s Song,” Luke Combs’ “Forever After All,” Little Big Town’s “Wine, Beer, Whiskey” and Thomas Rhett’s “What’s Your Country Song” making their way into the Top 10. In total, 26 of the Top 40 songs at iTunes are from country artists this morning.
At iTunes albums, Carrie Underwood’s My Savior has taken the top slot with Eric Church’s just-released Heart at #2.
EMI Nashville’s Brothers Osborne see the biggest boost at albums: Their October release, Skeletons, and 2016 album, Pawn Shop, are in the Top 15. Stapleton has two titles in the Top 20.
