KAROL G WINS BIG AT THE LATIN AMA AWARDS

Just weeks after the arrival of KG0516, UMLE’s Karol G is celebrating multiple wins at the Latin AMAs. The Columbian artist took home three awards for “Tusa” f/Nicki Minaj: Favorite Song–Urban, Song of the Year and Collaboration of the Year. 

In addition to her multiple wins, Karol G took the stage alongside Mariah Angeliq to perform their collaboration "EL MAKINON" live for the first time. Having amassed 200m+ global steams, the track, whose video debuted in the Top 10 of YouTube’s Top Global Music Videos, is currently in the Top 200 of Apple Music’s Latin Music charts in 70 countries, with more than 49k units sold. It is now eligible for gold certification in the U.S.

KG0516, which earned the biggest bow ever (more than 9m streams) on Spotify for a Spanish-language album by a female performer, has accumulated 10b combined global streams RTD and has achieved multiple certifications overseas, including gold in Colombia, platinum in Central America, 4x platinum in Mexico, 6x platinum in the U.S., 2x diamond in Argentina and 28x diamond in Chile.

The album occupies the #3 spot on the Top Latin Albums chart; it's #10 on Spotify's Top Global Albums.
