YOUR FEARLESS
TOP 20 FORECAST

Taylor Swift's Fearless (Taylor's Version) gives Team Republic and distro UMG another week at #1. It will also be 2021's top debut so far. This marks UMG's 19th consecutive week on top and Republic's 14th in that time span. Given the anticipated 300k +/- bow, it's reasonable to assume that next week Swift will deliver UMG's 20th and Republic's 15th outing on top.

Following the death Friday of rap icon DMX, The Best of DMX (Def Jam) vaults to #2 and could signify a discovery moment for young streamers just now learning about his life and catalog. Republic’s Ariana Grande moves up with the vinyl release (and D2C shipments) of Positions. NOT on today's Top 20 is Luke Bryan's deluxe release of Born Here Live Here Die Here (Capitol Nashville); it's bubbling just below, though, and may well have made the cut by the time the HITS Top 50 is finalized on Friday.

In pandemic news, we're gutted by the closing of the ArcLight, so we're going to console ourselves by watching a movie on 14 TVs.
