12Tone’s ILLENIUM has teamed up with platinum singer/rapper iann dior for his latest release, “First Time.” Boasting nearly 12m monthly listeners on Spotify, the new track landed on New Music Friday and was given a Jimmy Fallon seal of approval, being named a #JFJAM.
Layered with ILLENIUM’s signature melodic, future bass soundscapes, dior, who’s featured on 24kGoldn’s 3x platinum hit “Mood,” brings a unique rock-influenced flow to the track, which will be included on the producers upcoming, unnamed fourth studio album.
Teasing the collaboration on socials, including the illustrious Clubhouse, ILLENIUM gave fans the opportunity to win a pair of tickets for a show if they pre-saved the single. He also sent out USBs with 10-second clip of the song to three fans and when put together, it revealed a 30 second snippet of “First Time.”
