PENTHOUSE VIEW

"The great news is that we couldn't be more excited about you and your songs," Sony Music Nashville EVP A&R Jim Catino tells new signing Willie Jones, who inked with SMN as part of a partnership with management shop/entertainment company The Penthouse. "The not-so-great news is that your name and likeness will sometimes appear in HITS. We're really sorry about that part."

Shreveport, La. native Jones, who's inked to Warner Chappell for pub and repped by CAA, is earning a ton of buzz at present for his powerful "American Dream." Check it out below and you'll see why.

Seen in the pic above just before embarking on a fresh branding initiative to turn old songs about whiskey into new songs about gin are (l-r) manager/Penthouse chief Jonnie Forster, Jones and Catino.
