MILEY SERENADES
THE "ANGELS"

Miley Cyrus' first clip as a Columbia artist, "Angels Like You," is a first in another way: A video of the first COVID-19-compliant live music show of its size in the U.S. since the pandemic began. The crowd consists entirely of fully vaccinated health-care workers, who've toiled bravely on the front lines of the pandemic. Filmed at the Super Bowl (and first broadcast on the NFL Network's Good Morning Football), the video finds Miley mixing her customary glitter with gridiron chic as she belts this cut from her Plastic Hearts set (which dropped last fall via RCA). Near the end of the clip below you'll encounter a note from the superstar explaining the context—and import—of this moment; click on the message for a larger view.
