CROSBY TURN, TURN, TURNS OVER HIS LEGACY TO IRVING

David Crosby has partnered with Irving Azoff’s Iconic Artists Group to monetize his life's work and preserve and expand his legacy in the digital era.

Iconic has purchased his catalog, which encompasses his publishing and recorded music rights, including his solo work and that with The Byrds, Crosby & Nash, Crosby, Stills & Nash and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. The start of the Iconic relationship coincides with the 50th anniversary of Crosby’s debut solo album, If I Could Only Remember My Name.

“Given our current inability to work live, this deal is a blessing for me and my family and I do believe these are the best people to do it with,” said Crosby, who has made a name for himself for his blunt opinions on Twitter.

Azoff said, “This is an incredible time to be involved with David and his tremendous catalog of music. He’s truly one of music’s most prolific songwriters and artists and I’m honored he has made Iconic the steward of his timeless musical legacy.”

Folk-rock pioneer Crosby’s most famous compositions and co-writes include “Eight Miles High,” “Wooden Ships,” "Long Time Gone," "Almost Cut My Hair," “Guinnevere” and “Déjà Vu.”

We look forward to next year's supergroup tour of Crosby, Nate, Al & Irving.
