SPOKES DOCKS AT ISLAND U.K.

Island U.K. has tapped Nicola Spokes as Managing Director. The former Caroline International U.K. label head fills the role previously held by Natasha Mann, who has become Director of Diversity & Inclusion at Universal Music U.K.

Spokes will work in tandem with Island SVP Steve Pitron and report to President Louis Bloom. “Nicola's passion, strategic flair and visionary thinking make her a fantastic addition to an already brilliant team and I know that she will play a huge part in the future success of this great label,” Bloom said.

During her four years at Caroline, Spokes oversaw campaigns for Aitch, Digga D, D-Block Europe, Internet Money, Tame Impala and others. She previously spent 15 years at Ministry of Sound, where she rose to Marketing Director.
