DOWN GOES DOWNLOAD

The U.K.'s Download Festival, slated for 6/4-6 in Leicestershire, was forced to cancel for the second year in a row due to COVID-19. On the bright side, the rock fest announced Monday that three of its four 2021 headliners have been confirmed for 2022: KISS, Iron Maiden and Biffy Clyro; System of a Down has not.

Following the announcement on social media, Download immediately began promoting next year's festival, tickets for which go on sale Friday.

The Download Festival's June 2021 dates were too early for a safe gathering. Live Nation, however, sold 100,000 tickets for Reading and Leeds last week as its late-August dates were deemed okay by government officials.
