iHEART'S LIVING BLACK!

In honor of Black History Month, iHeartMedia on 2/20 celebrated iHeartRadio’s Living Black! to highlight the power of Black music and its cultural impact.

Hosted by comedian Donnell Rawlings, the event presented performances by Roddy Ricch, 21 Savage, Jhené Aiko and Kirk Franklin from local Black-owned business locations nationwide, including L.A.’s Trap Kitchen food truck, Atlanta’s Copper Cove Bistro and Texas’ Black Coffee.

Other special guests included Mary J. Blige, Andra Day, Killer Mike, Matt Barnes and Tamika Mallory and iHeartRadio on-air personalities like The Breakfast Club’s DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God as well as Big Boy, Angie Martinez, DJ Clue, DJ Drama and more.

The monthlong celebration also highlighted hundreds of Black artists, influencers and thought leaders through audio vignettes and tributes on 660+ iHeartMedia broadcast radio stations.

Produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Rikki Hughes of Magic Lemonade, the show was available to stream on iHeartMedia Hip-Hop, Gospel and R&B broadcast stations in addition to iHeartRadio’s YouTube and Facebook pages, the iHeartRadio App and venues on Oculus Quest.

iHeartRadio’s partners included Facebook Groups, Rémy Martin and Walmart.
