Foo Fighters' Medicine at Midnight (Columbia) hits #1 on the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart with 42,500 in sales as Olivia Rodrigo’s “drivers license” (Polydor) claims a fifth week on top at singles.
Medicine at Midnight outsold its six closest rivals combined, with 74% CD and vinyl sales. It’s the fifth U.K. #1 for the Foos.
At #2 is The Weeknd’s The Highlights (Island), the most-streamed album of the week, followed by the debut from Black Country, New Road, For the First Time (Ninja Tune), new at #4.
Fleet Foxes’ Shore (Anti) enters at #5, and The Staves claim their highest-charting position to date, with Good Woman (Atlantic) at #13.
On the U.K.’s Official Singles chart, “drivers license” earned 59,000k in chart sales, including 7.2m streams, to remain at #1.
Digga D & AJ Tracey have this week’s highest new entry, “Bringing It Back” (CGM Records), at #5. Tiesto’s “The Business” (Atlantic) jumps four places to #7.
Travis Scott & HVME’s “Goosebumps” (Ministry of Sound) is up six places to #10, and The Weeknd’s "Save Your Tears" bounces 16 places to #15. “Friday” (Ministry of Sound) by Riton x Nightcrawlers f/Mufasa & Hypeman vaults eight places to enter the Top 20 for the first time at #16.
