UMG and Lego have partnered to create a new plaything for kids that blends physical and digital creation, with UMG's catalog serving as the soundtrack. Vidiyo will allow children to produce their own music videos with Lego figures and share them with friends or via the app's secure network, fostering music discovery and a safe, immersive social experience.
Combining AR technology with the Lego System in Play and music from UMG hitmakers, the kid vid conduit provides a new opportunity for children to express themselves creatively.
This will be the first time the elementary-school set can play with Legos in real-life scale and super-sized scale as well as the iconic minifigure scale. Vidiyo also lets them style their band members, select names for their band, design album covers and much more thanks to extensive customization tools.
