The Grammy Museum is debuting its inaugural virtual event, the Grammy in the Schools Fest, celebrating music and music education the week leading up to the Grammy Awards. Presented by MusicPower, GITS Fest transpires 3/8-3/11.
Previously Grammy in the Schools Live!, GITS will feature Grammy winners as well as current and previous nominees, including Derek "MixedByAli" Ali, HAIM, H.E.R., Hunter Hayes, Snarky Puppy’s Michael League, Manny Marroquin, PJ Morton and Charlie Puth. Also in attendance will be Grammy Museum President Michael Sticka and MusicPower Founder Andy Nahas.
Incorporating elements of various GRAMMY Museum education programs like GRAMMY Camp, GRAMMY Career Day and the Music Educator Award, GITS will also present performances by students and professionals, educational panels and more. These programs receive additional support from the Ford Motor Company Fund.
