Crush Music’s VP of Rock Formats Garrett Capone has been upped to GM of Rock Music.
In his nine years at the company, Capone has delivered #1s for Panic! At the Disco, Green Day, Weezer, Lorde, Fall Out Boy and others.
“Capone has proven time and time again that nothing is impossible,” Crush CMO Dan Kruchkow said. “He consistently deliveries and is the human embodiment of the Crush spirit. We’re all excited to watch him continue to smash records, bring in #1s and dominate streaming and radio.”
Last year alone, Capone hit #1 with Weezer’s “Hero” at Alternative as well as Green Day’s “Father of All…” and “Oh Yeah.” He also shepherded Panic! At the Disco’s four-times-platinum single “High Hopes.”
Prior to joining Crush, Capone was Program Director at San Diego’s 91X. Among his other accomplishments, he is revered for his ability to translate Ted Volk’s column into English.
