On 2/5 Disney+ debuted the U.S. premiere of the film My Music Story: YOSHIKI, in which the prodigious Japanese composer/pianist/rock drummer and frontman of x Japan takes viewers behind the scenes of his recording process and reveals how he shapes his ambitious arrangements.
Over the last year, Yoshiki collaborated with St. Vincent for a classical rendition of her song "New York" and connected with Bono, will.i.am and Jennifer Hudson for a quarantine track, "#SING4LIFE."
Yoshiki reimagines multiple Disney classics in the film, including Frozen's "Let It Go" and The Lion King's "Can You Feel the Love Tonight."
U.S. subscribers to Disney+ can watch a subtitled version. See the trailer below.
