SWEET MOVES FOR SAWEETIE BOWL

Xbox recently partnered with ICY/Warner’s Saweetie to debut the inaugural Saweetie Bowl gaming competition ahead of this weekend's Super Bowl.

Held on 1/29 at Snoop Dogg’s Inglewood gaming compound, the event featured a star-studded lineup of coaches, hosts and celebrity guests and raised 10k with donations made to the Snoop Youth Football League.

As the evening’s host and commentator, Saweetie was joined by professional gamer XSET JOKE as the official coach and advisor as well as three-time Super Bowl champion and New England Patriots’ wide receiver, Julian Edelman, who battled with Snoop in an EA SPORTS Madden NFL 21 tournament on Xbox.

“We are kicking off this year’s big game the ICY way with an exciting Madden gaming competition together with Xbox and a few of my friends,” shared Saweetie. “Football is big in my family and this year’s festivities brings all of us together in support of a good cause.”

Edelman was crowned as the official 2021 Saweetie Bowl champion and was honored with a custom, diamond encrusted Saweetie Bowl chain. Meanwhile, Snoop was crowned the blunt rolling champion.
